But you are correct - good value to be had there.
By the way sometimes purchasing a car is not all about value, take for example a Cobra! 
PS: No smile in the grill of a Mondeo - so no appeal to women.
Nothing specifically qualifies me to conclude this, other than experience and some friends in Automotive Design
