Hmmmm, very nice indeed & a favorite of mine.

I'd try for Larry Ellison's Fully Billet Kirkham Cobra...
failling that I'd settle for either on of these two 1930's beauties...

1930 Mercedes-Benz "Count Trossi"
"I cant insert the pic :-("

or the Bugatti type 57sc Atlantic

Daily driving would however be a b!tch!

Enjoy...

GT40 Mk II. And I've already got one (SPF). I suppose an original would be even better, but I'd feel guilty risking it on the road since it's a piece of original history.

I'd find someone to build this for me:
The Official Cobra Venom V8 Website

Then I'd set up limited production and charge all you fellas a bluddy fortune to buy one.

Agreed, the 250GTO is very, very nice. The 250GT/SWB is 'OK' as well.
But what about this one, the Bentley Blue Train Car? One only built, so Vintage Racing Green are making replicas based on Bentley Mk VIs....

Cheers!
Glen

Quite the car. I was at the Monterey Historics this year and there were THREE of those racing side by side. Listening to those engines rev, even parked in the pits, was incredible.

Jeff,

You have stolen my No.1. Bucket list. There were only two cars that I really loved. Thats was the the 250 GTO and the Cobra. I have the Cobra, but the next step up is pretty steep. Who knows. I have been buying $5 lottery litckets which in NSW is worth now $35 million, so I might just scrape in for a GTO if my lucky number comes up. I woukld still keep the Cobra though. What a great garage pic that would make. One for rsin and one for fine.

Jeff,

I'm with you..

This car is on the top of my 'Bucket List", but the next down the line is the Cobra which I now have. I have only one step to go, but I don't think that the current NSW $5 Lottery win at $35 million could secure an original 250 GTO Ferrari.

Well, if I had to choose a Ferrari ( if I really had to choose one) it would be a 275 GTB-4. Whilst the GTO is a great car-the 275 gtb-4 is probably the best looking one IMHO.
Failing that it would most like be a Dusenberg Roadster or maybe a Auburn supercharged roadster-both great to look.
