Finally after all the brain damage with Vic Roads and Engineers, my car now has shiny new plates fitted. Now I am gonna drive the pants off it...

Zedn,
I purchased the seats from classic and sports auto interiors in melbourne, they were ADR compliant when I sourced them but I believe the compliance has recently changed for some states, so now I'm not sure. You can check them out at Classic & Sports Auto Interiors | Interiors | Elfin Sports Cars, Austin Healey & more | Eltham
They feel awesome too..Fit is spot on.

The requirements changed ages ago (i think 2008). Its just that some of the states let you lock in your ADRs when you commence. It has been a requirement in NSW for years. There are very few seats that comply with the current ADR.

To be honest i think they have really got it wrong with the new requirement. I have found that in my 2010 model car the seat really makes it difficult to see when reversing or changing lanes. I doubt the extra 50mm would be any benefit for preventing whiplash as very few peoples head would be high enough above the old height.
