Default HSV VY Dash Issue

Hi guys,

I know this is a cobra forum but was hoping someone here could help me out with a dash problem.

In my VY2 HSV Ckubbie, the centre LCD panel has started to intermittantly blank out. The two outer panels seem unaffected. It's a real pain because the centre one has info for km's travelled, trip distance, cruise on/off etc.

Has anyone got any experience on what needs to be done to fix this?

Thanks

Tim, try the forum below. Here's hoping it's just a loose connector on the back.

get a new cluster
it's common for older vr vs dashes to play up
so I guess the gremlins went thru to the vz vy etc etc
it's not a power issues just poor quality stuff
some electronics have a life span of 10 to 15 years
might be cheaper to get an instrument guy to fix it
but new hsv vy red cluster cost me 400 bucks 5 years ago
