Hi Andygay,

Re your Vintage knockoff rims. Are they 15" or 17" and how do you like those BF Goodrich treads?

Thanks Rob. I was more interested in the tyres than the rims. Unfortunately, I have 17" Vintage Knock Offs fitted with 315/35/17 Sumitomo's on the rear and 255/45/17's on the front. They have only done 2,000 k's, but I'm thinking of increasing the height of my rear tyres when they come due to around a 315/45/17. I have checked the Tirerack Website in Indiana and it doesn't appear that B.F. Goodrich or any other tyre manufacturer make such a tyre. The only way to get that chunky look on the rear is to go back to 15" rims which I don't want to do. Any ideas or recommendations would be appreciated.

The other day I put an 18" (rim) tyre up against my Cobras' 15" (rim) Yokahama tyre and they were both the same diameter....just sidewall difference.....If you've got them big rims...fill em up with big brakes ! That was the original reason for the big rims.

Hi, everyone this is my new toy.
I got it in December and have put a whole 1500k's on it so far and loved every one.

I plan to make a few changes down the track, like a new colour scheme, interior roll bar just to name a few, when it comes to do that time I may have some questions for you all.

Hi Baz,

You are probably already aware of it, but keep in mind that will require your speedo to be recalibrated.

Cheers.

How is the driving going now Baz? Are you getting out a bit in the car? Smiling at the roadside officials?

As Maxwell Smart would say Merv, "And loving it". Happy New Year to you and Sharon. The same applies to every other member of this Forum. May good health and prosperity follow you all for 2012 and thereafter.
