A bit off the subject..!
Hello Folks, The next door neighbour has purchased a "SeeDoo" speed boat. Apparently they had two jetski engines and pumps in them. The boat weighs a ton and it's amazing how they used to go so well. Soo this bloke has had a brainstorm to fit a LS1 to a larger pump and hang this out of the boat. He asked me what temps should this engine run at and where can he get the proper bits to make the engine 'marinised'. I'm not familiar with Chevrolet engines or their pretty bits....so I'm asking if anyone knows of an Australian supplier of marine engine bits and what temp the engine should run at. I'm guessing about 90 deg C before a fan cuts in. Any info would be a help.....this bloke needs it !  |
