That looks like my timing - roughly (will be dragging the car up from Hastings) will be in contact.

Pete,
Stiffy, mentioned he was leaving Brighton around midday. So should be on the Hume around 1.00.

I will not be able to make the early start as I am heading up from Portland now early Friday.
So will aim for about lunch time at the BP Wallan. Will place a Post on this.

I am now aiming to be at the BP at Wallan at about 1pm.
If interested we can meet their between 1 - 2pm. Still only a 1 1/2 - 2 hour or so trip to get there mid afternoon at Winton Raceway..
Your thoughts..
Stiffy. Will wait there...

Is Scrutineering available on Friday?
I do not have paperwork with me.
I am leaving North Melbourne around 9am, hope to unload Cobra at Wangaratta soon after lunch and cruise down to Winton for Scrutineering and watching.

I'm hoping someone can give us a day by day run down with pics of the event for the people that can't make the event this year? It'd be great to hear how everyone goes, what the weather and track conditions are like and any pics along the way.
Drive safe...

Winton
That'd be great. I'm sure Wazza and Gary Hall and Co would really like to hear how it all goes. Without putting the mocker on anything what's the weather outlook?

Weather looks reasonable for Saturday - if you can believe the Wangarratta and Benalla seven day forecasts.....

LJ47, sent you a PM as I will be intending on meeting up with you at BP Wallan on Friday at 6:30am etc. Regarding the Friday Test and Tune - do you have to book this with the track or just rock up and pay on the day? Also, how much? I assume AASA license is ok too. Thanks rgds Gregg

Thanks guys for the well wishes.
Dave, sleep, what's that?
Just coming down with my brother and his GT40 we sponsor.
Won't be bringing any of the new toys, but will have a big showing at the Nationals this year. Next year for Shelby Fest. At the shop(have two shops now) it's all hands on deck, have over 10 guys in total now including full timers & contractors. Just can't spare the resources to do anything at the moment.
And I bet none of my guys will miss me.

Craig
Good luck with the trip down.
I am amazed just how busy you guys were [are] when I was up there. The new factory and Cobra manufacturing area is really something. I am looking forward to see the new GT40 and the finished Cobra.
The body shape of the Cobra is fantastic also.
Again safe trip down. Look forward to catching up with you and everyone there. I hope to be there later Friday afternoon.
Bernie

Sounds terrific Craig. We are all pleased about your progress and what it adds to the vitality and strength of the Australian market. Any pics of the new (?) car that looks like an Ariel Atom?
