Default Seeking marine savvy NSW cobraphile help

An odd title I know but an accurate one.

There is a powerboat that has suffered topside fire damage going up for auction in Moorebank on 20 February.

I am keen for some one with some outboard experience to look at the partly crispened motor hanging on the back to determine if it too has been stuffed by the fire.

As well, the boat is sitting on a nice looking tandem trailer that I think will be ok but this need to be looked at too.

Are there any NSW cobraphiles (or a mate) fitting the description that might be able to have a look at this mess for me before next Wednesday?

Send me a PM with a contact number and I'll give you a call back.

Cheers

Captain Slo

I was thinking Mini Me myself...

...Steve will need anyone in the Moorebank/Liverpool area to have a look under the cowl of this salvage job....I am a tad to far away with Sydney traffic....

....Can you post that link again Steve....

...all he really needs is a a visual assessment of whether or not the fire has stuffed the clunky bits in the outboard and whether the outboard would suit reco.

Guys

Here's the link to the burnt out hull at Manheims in Moorebank.

Haines Signature Boat (Runabout) - Used Car for Sale - Manheim

As Adam says I need someone with outboard experience to peer under the cowl to see what state the electronics and ancillaries have ended up in from the fire and presumably the efforts to put out the fire.

Also need appraisal of the trailer to make sure it is a goer, as I'd simply tow it back to Melbourne.

Any help would be appreciated.

Steve
