ThE new stance is right on. Very nice car.

Rob. Smith 02-18-2012 05:05 AM

Have the new rims got safety ridges to prevent the tyre from collapsing into the centre of the wheel. I couldn't see one in the pics. Insurance mobs will be laughing !

BJ's Snake 02-18-2012 03:03 PM

Gee Rob, I would think when you get a business that makes wheels for the last 20 years to do a job they would know the rules and regs of their particular craft. I am sure they would have the necessary safety ridges built in.

Cheers

Have the seat heaters been fitted yet BJ?

BJ's Snake 02-18-2012 09:18 PM

Can't bring myself to do it Gav!

Ya never know ! I couldn't see the rim lips so I thought I'd ask.
A couple of years/models ago Ford forgot to fit cats to the exhaust and they have been around a fair while.

Being a Rubber grub for more years than I care to remember I can tell you YES they are there-I looked and saw both the inner and the outer ones ;)
So its all good!

Yep, I see them too. Looking good Brett.
What tyres are they? Can just make out maybe Firehawk?

BJ's Snake 02-19-2012 02:32 PM

Hi Dave
They are Firehawk Indy 500 made by Firestone. Only other choice in that size was BFG.

Cheers

BJ looks great.

fordracing65 02-19-2012 09:23 PM

Sweet ride, I love the hood and the wheels, looks fast. I would love to drive a right hand cobra once.

Merv and Sharon 02-19-2012 10:22 PM

BJ - I do like your coloured wheel centres. Now I have been thinking about that for a while with mine. What is the process of doing it? If the centres are currently polished, do they have to be sanded and what kind of application process is best?

BJ's Snake 02-19-2012 11:32 PM

Merv
The centres were originally Black and all the painter done was light sand and sprayed with 2 pac a day after the car came out of the booth. Not sure about application on your polished centres.

Cheers

Thanks BJ.

BITTEN 02-20-2012 06:21 PM

The airbrush is cool BJ. Car is beautifully finsished, well done.

hogster 02-28-2012 04:12 AM

Nice BJ.

Theres not many machines with more attitude than a cobra with a fat arse.

They look great mate, did you ever get around to the dual quad setup?

BJ's Snake 02-28-2012 12:19 PM

Hi Andrew
Yep, can't beat the deep dish and big wheel look. There is a nice little stroker short block on its way from the states that the dual quad setup will reside on.

How is yours progressing?

Cheers
Brett
