Have the new rims got safety ridges to prevent the tyre from collapsing into the centre of the wheel. I couldn't see one in the pics. Insurance mobs will be laughing !

Gee Rob, I would think when you get a business that makes wheels for the last 20 years to do a job they would know the rules and regs of their particular craft. I am sure they would have the necessary safety ridges built in.

Cheers

Ya never know ! I couldn't see the rim lips so I thought I'd ask.
A couple of years/models ago Ford forgot to fit cats to the exhaust and they have been around a fair while.

Hi Dave
They are Firehawk Indy 500 made by Firestone. Only other choice in that size was BFG.

Cheers

Sweet ride, I love the hood and the wheels, looks fast. I would love to drive a right hand cobra once.

BJ - I do like your coloured wheel centres. Now I have been thinking about that for a while with mine. What is the process of doing it? If the centres are currently polished, do they have to be sanded and what kind of application process is best?

Merv
The centres were originally Black and all the painter done was light sand and sprayed with 2 pac a day after the car came out of the booth. Not sure about application on your polished centres.

Cheers

Hi Andrew
Yep, can't beat the deep dish and big wheel look. There is a nice little stroker short block on its way from the states that the dual quad setup will reside on.

How is yours progressing?

Cheers
Brett
