Default A Gentle Warning !

Another DRB Cobra Owner had a problem with his Tacho. It wouldn't read correctly. His ignition system was a 6AL Procomp Ignition Box, Distributor and Coil. I contacted them through facebook. Every other method failed. I work beyond business hours. They told me that Sydney Speed Supplies was their seller. S.S.S sold me a 'Tacho Adapter' for $75.00 plus postage etc.
It arrived without any wiring diagrams or even instructions. It took me several tries to get any response regarding a wiring diagram. When I finally got a diagram it was obvious that the Tacho Adapter wasn't compatible with the ignition package. They knew this before they sent it to me. I returned the adapter by overnight mail and waited ...it's almost exactly a month before I got the refund...minus $15 to put it back on the shelf. I won't be dealing with them any more.

Rubbish is being polite. Cheap copied junk built to a pricepoint, without any apparent thought given to quality control. Google "Pro Comp problem" and settle in for a long night of reading... Given the option of Pro Comp junk or any other option, give me the alternative.
