I originally took 6 weeks including paint and header fabrication.Assembly of the running gear to the frame took two days.....a week end. This was not however the first Cobra that I built. I am still driving today. Also I did not start ,or test drive until everything was completed, then I started it up and went for a drive, with everything working.
