Venturing into the unknown - turbos
I've taken a leap of faith, turning my back on the comfort zone of superchargers and have decided to give turbos a try.
I bought a twin turbo package with 2x Garrett GTX4202R billet impeller BB turbos and all of the oil/water lines and fittings, Garrett turbo tach, fitted sensor and datalogging wiring.
Garrett rate them at up to 1150hp each, so running them as twins might be a bit radical for the street. What do you reckon; twins on a big block or single turbo on a small block?
Maybe I should mount them as twin rear-mounts in the back of the ute. A couple of people looked strangely at the air filters protruding above the tray as I drove home!
