Thanks again Mike and absolutely a good point.

Thanks also for the info on your set up Toe Cutter (thats so original Mad Max/Road warrior.... I like it), I am definately leaning for the 347 set up (is the 363 the same stoker kit but with over sized bores and pistons???), and definately want to use the same block that I have all ready for the reasons you highlighted.

This main girdle looks to be the way to go, noting the above and Mikes recommendations.

Thanks for the help with this guys, I am learning lots about this car now, and some good best practice recommendations are coming through loud and clear...so Cheers...Adz

Default More than you need.

The 363 is a larger bore as you have mentioned, of 4 1/8th bore compared to the standard 4 inch bore.

I think you just have to see what you want to do with the car, a 5ltr windsor with some heads nice cam will be plenty enough to get you into trouble on the street.

A 347 stroker is a nice option to give yourself a bit of a fright every now and then, just don't rev it, if you keep it under 6k it will last for ever.

I have an Iron eagle block with a 363 capacity and love it, revs to 7500 and has more power than I will ever need.

Another thing you should concider is the handling and braking of the car, they so unforgiving and to had a couple hundred more HP is not a good mix. I would also look at a brake upgrade and a bit of a going over the suspension as well.

Phil
