Green light for motorkhana plan. Winton raceway has been granted approval to development a motorkhana complex with in the old cricket ground area. The development will involve constructing a sealed pavement of 120m2 covering about 16% of the cricket ground allowing motorkhana sports to take place in all weather condition. Might be a goer for next yrs shelby fest.

All loaded up and tied down.

I made a removeable light bar, the lights down really low allways worried me that trucks and teh like may not see them.

This arrived Friday afternoon in the post, no time to fit.

I havent got the BillBoards yet, so no point going into race class just over the aeroscreen.

Slicks would put you in race class, without slicks you will be in the Modular/LS class, nothing to do with aeroscreen?

First year I attended with aero screen, I was put in race class.
And besides, I will be driving around Melbourne with it, aero screen is not exactly the most comfortable, although I do have my goggles with prescription lenses and flying helmet.
sambo, Legless and Modena like this.

Who is heading up when?
I hope to leave Point Cook at about 6am Friday, anyone want to drive my tow car and trailer to Wangaratta (from Winton), save me putting the Cobra back on trailer after practice day.

Dave, typically there's someone who needs a lift who can probably drive your "rig" back to Wang. I am meeting some of the CR builders at Dragway at Kinglake at 9am and then continuing on from there to Winton. Not sure If I'll do the practice day or not. Cheers Gregg

Good luck and safe travels to everyone heading to Shelbyfest this weekend.
Not happy that I am missing the event this year but I will definitely be back next year. Good luck with the event I hope it all goes well and you got enough numbers. Sorry again that we couldn't make it.

Well done to Gav, had the pleasure of him being next to us in the pit area. Does anyone have a spreadsheet of the time for those of us who couldnt make sat night ?.
Would also like to say it was great to meet Dave , Ross and quite a few others I cant remember because of poor memory. Thanks to the organisers for a great weekend.

Cheers
