Default New Cobra

Hi Guys,
I ordered a Cobra from Craig at Absolute Pace on the Gold Coast and I went to see the progress on Friday and i was Gob smacked by the quality to say the least.
The alloy chassis is all together and only has to be finished seam welded.

The body was being made as we were in conversation out side the spray booth.

The test panel was so good i could count the grey hairs in my mustache in the reflection.

I am going to see the progress next Friday and i cant wait.

I have wanted one of these cars for nearly 50 years and finally i am going to get one.

Welcome Cobra01,

You must be getting chassis 002 (I gather Craig's keeping 001 as the development/promo car). I'm number 003.

I agree, the quality of the Pace 427SC is exceptionally high. Can't wait to receive mine either!

What motor and trans are you fitting? Are you going with 15", 17" or 18" wheels?

Hi Paintworks

I am getting a 302 Windsor crate engine from the states and i will be fitting a T5 manual gearbox possibly with a 3.75 Diff.

17" wheels will be the go for me

The car will be Ford Blue or as close as you can get it.

At 1,000 KGS i don't to be super sonic

Sounds perfect and that would be what I will be looking for, except perhaps with a 331.

Looking forward to some photos.

Hi Paintworks

I am going to see Craig on Friday afternoon cause we are staying at Broardbeach on the weekend (need some R&R).

I will bore you with some photos of how the car is coming along and i would value your opinion of the finish of the body finish.

I still don't have a delivery date but it has to be in a few weeks i would think.

I will ask Craig how your car is coming alond and we can put some pressure on him.

Craig told me he was under the pump with the move to new premises so we might as well keep him there as he seems to enjoy the pressure hahaha.

I will post photos on friday night or sat morning depending on the R&R.

All the best

Brad
