Default Good thread on Cobra aerodynamics

In the monthly email I get from ffcars.com they shared a link to an interesting forum thread on Cobra aerodynamics. Hearing about recent top speeds at Bathurst and Winton I thought a few people might want to check it out.

Rear Wing - FFCars.com : Factory Five Racing Discussion Forum

Eg, here's one I haven't seen before!

Drive down the road, hang your head out the window with your mouth wide open, that's probably how a Cobra feels...

I may look strange, but it works. And it only takes a couple of minutes to install and remove.

I really miss that kind of thread on this site. We used to have folks here who raced and drove their cars and built their own stuff. We used to have a lot more actively posting folks as well. Now we mostly have a few jokers whose goal is either self-agrandisement or poking fun at their buddies. I see Bob doesn't put meaty stuff here and I also see Morris Clement has moved on... I saw a thread the other day where a newbie was asking about his car and all he got was grief because it wasn't a CSX. I guess I need to move to the other forums as well after 10 years here

X2. Bob really drives the hell out of his car and is always looking for ways to improve the car and his driving. I've learned a lot from him.
