Default Local drag racing last Sunday

The local drag club had a meeting on last weekend.
I had itchy feet so I took the Cobra down.
There was a race run for "Fastest street car in Alice"
Must be street tyres and registered etc.
I decided to have a crack and it was heads up racing with fastest 8 cars from qualifying sent through.
I ended up in the final, managed a 12.72 @ 109.5 with .080 R/T
Best run for the day from me was 12.66 @ 110.12 with .082 R/T thats my first 110 pass from memory.

This is the final.
Run at ASID 19.5.13 - YouTube

Cheers..

60ft times are really important for your ET.

Improve your launch and watch the 60ft times tumble and the flow on effect to your ET.

A lack of traction is the problem, If I use any revs at all the tyres just loose traction.

I have a set of drag slicks, I will retry them once I have fixed the LS centre in diff.

It'll be interesting to see if the Bilboards hook up any better.

With traction there should be no reason to not be netting a 1.6 60ft time and an 1/8th time in the mid 7's, your car certainly has the power and low weight Dave.
