I thought the same thing Les.

This old champion was out in the car park at Goodwood last year. I could see a "Cobra-ized" version of it issuing from Mike's shed....

Don, what a great pic, I just love that old machinery.
Gav, yeah, I heard from FedEx that there has been multiple shipments of 4 barrel EFI intakes delivered to his place.

I guess he is cutting them up and making a 12 cylinder version.

No wonder we don't see him as often as we did.

I heard that he has had it finished several times but keeps on pulling it apart to make it better.

Didn't hear that Gav, but I did hear from one of his neighbours that he has several versions.

There is the V12.
Then I heard he bolted two LS1's together at the sump flange and made a horizontal X16.
Then, just so no one would be faster at the Shelby fest he bolted two of his V12's together to make a X24.

I've also heard from an excellent source that the left over 4 cylinders from the V12 conversion has gone into an LS V4 which currently powers his ride on mower.

Watch out for that ride on at the next nationals.

I saw that motor a couple of weeks back. I had a think about it but my TIG welder doesn't have enough grunt to do the welding on the block

How cool would that motor be in the back of a replica Auto Union.

BTW, that's Nick Mason the drummer from Pink Floyd at the wheel. He has an amazing car collection.

Cheers
