Lightbulb Where do you source your parts?

Hi everybody,

Probably like most of you, I've spent a great deal of time looking for parts for my Cobra. Some I've been able to find in Australia and some overseas.

I've found a lot of the parts I need from Snakebite in Australia as well as Summit Racing in the US.

I was just wondering if anyone else had some suggestions of places to look for the various pieces needed.

Where would you look for seats for instance?

Hoping that with a good list of retailers, might make at least the parts sourcing in the project easier

Cheers,

Adam.

I buy a lot from summit since they sorted out the shipping cost.

I have bought suspension and billet specialties parts from Yogi Inc. everything else off eBay.

Not many parts on my car have been from retail shops other than small bit and pieces.

Adam,
Holden Vintage and Classic (UK) is good. I've bought stuff from them; shipping is quick and reasonable price as well
Body Hardware products for vintage & classic cars from Holden Vintage & Classic
Cheers,

Yep... Summit are great and, I've found that if you leave the shipping type as default (i.e. - don't pick a more expensive one) you seem to get the goods in a week (I'm in Perth though). Blown away by the speed of that.

Their search engine is particularly good to if you have a fairly standard engine. I've got a Boss 290 so it's pretty easy to source parts for... at the moment.

Had a quick look at Car Builders and have saved them as a favourite. I'll go for a more concentrated look tonight, but they look awesome.

I've been talking to BPT Motorsports here in Perth about reprogramming the engine to the computer and performing the tuning etc. They've been great so far.

Cheers,

Adam.

G'day Adam,
If its seats your looking for, you can try Classic & sports Auto Interiors in Melbourne.
The type of seat you want depends of course if you need seats that are ADR approved for rego.
Cheers

Europa Spares in UK would have stuff that you can't source from Don.
