Default A Trip to Vintage Wheels

I was in San Diego last week for business and took the opportunity to visit Vintage Wheels which are about a 25 minute drive north of San Diego.

Bob is a great guy and very keen to help with some great products.
I went with the 427 pin drives in 17x8 for the front and 17x11 for the rears with the adapters to suit the Jag hubs.
Bob is also supplying the tyres, I've gone with the Nitto 555 in a 245x45x17 front and 315x35x17 rear.

The only thing I need to do now is figure out the correct offset/backspaces to ensure they sit nice and close to the guards. So I'm happy to hear from any other G-Force owners for what they have.

Below are some shots...

Bob showing the width of the rears!

These are Toyo's, I think, the Nitto's are in the distance showing the fronts

Are they 6 pin hubs sitting on the table? Did you consider going down that path rather than using 5 pin adapters?

Good choice on the sizing, they look great!

Hey Craig,

The hubs on the table are the Jag ones. Bob was showing me how they fit on the Jag hubs and then fit into the back of the wheels and then the single spinner goes on.

He's modified the spinner to have a pin (circlip) that secures it onto the hub that locks it in place. More secure than previous. I can take more pics when I get them.

I can echo what Geoff says. Bob is great to deal with and truthful in his business dealings. I would buy wheels from him again in a heartbeat!

I cut out cardboard templates once when I was getting custom wheels made for one of my cars.

Agree 100%. Bob is excellent to deal with and 'very helpful' when it came to a few suggestions I had with regard to shipping costs.

Cheers
