Default Jag IRS - Lower Control Arm length?

I'm talking to someone with Jag IRS parts for sale. He has a spare set of RMC shortened Lower Control Arms, which he measured at 451mm from centre to centre, but I wonder if he has his measurements wrong.

I've measured mine, which I believe both have standard XKE control arms, at closer to 390mm. I'd be surprised for there to be such a big difference because I know the RMC can fit wheels with a pretty deep offset.

Has anyone shortened their Jag LCAs and if so can you remember the final length?

Thanks

Wink

We have shortened quite a few over the years -- 390 sounds about right --we just shortened it to the customers request, usually by 65 mm
and I think that one of the early E type was the right length anyway

Thanks Chris. Yep, the standard XKE LCAs seem to fit a lot of Cobras and the XJ6 need to be shortened. I can't find their lengths anywhere!
I've asked the seller to double check the measurements that he has written down. He'll be spewing if he had some custom control arms made in the incorrect "original" length!
