Default Christmas Get together for Cobra Car Club of Queensland.

A "few" of the Queensland Cobra Car Club members got together on Sunday for a run, ending up at Harrigan's Drift Inn at Jacobs Well.

Harrigan's Drift Inn :: Home

It was a fantastic day....and we had a pretty good roll up,
with about 90 club members attending.

For those that wanted to go on a run before lunch...

I took them for a 90 minute run, up behind the Gold Coast...through Upper Coomera, Nerang, Hinze Dam, and stopped on "The Panorama" , a little known spot on the Gold Coast, with the best views ever.

We had about 25 cars on the run, ( including a couple of "normal" cars),
and when we all joined up with those Cobras and GT40s already at Harrigans, we created our very own car show.

The public at the Hotel gave the cars a big "Thumbs Up"...and we all enjoyed a few hours of drinks and a really nice meal.
All up....a really good day with a great bunch of people.

Special Thanks to Grant and Dagmar YOUNG, for their fantastic help in getting all of this arranged.

and,

Wishing you all a very Happy Christmas from the Cobra Car Club of Queensland.

Cheers,
Warren Boylan,
Club Pres.
