Default Twin Pusher Fans

Hi all,
I'm sure i've seen a thread in here about twin pusher fans and how lousy they are (cant find it), but i still want some, The radiator has a 16" job on the back already but i want the trinket bits on the front.

The problem is the quality of the ones I've seen look a bit cheap and nasty,
other the Finishline and Snakebite sets, which i think maybe the same except for price, does anybody know of some other brands ?

Dave

Anybody know why Shelby mounted the fans on backwards on the Super Snake?

I've always thought these fan blades are the same as commercial refrigeration condenser fans.

Drop into either Actrol, Lovelocks or a commercial aircond/refrigeration supplier and see what they've got.

Add a couple of 12v motors and bracket. With your skills Dave I don't think this would be too hard. You might end up with a unit you want at half the cost.

Have a look at this link

I'm thinking that maybe the radiator was pushed forward to make more room for the Paxtons but I don't know. That's certainly why the oil filter is up there.

Box,
yours look good Dave, in the Finishline kit i saw, the blades were really light and flimsy and the edges were quite rough.
Found some good looking blades in the fasco catalogue

Dave I've seen photos of your work...
I'm betting YOU can make them.

As for the rest of us mortals...
Meh. Finishline and snakebite it is.

Nice rack of fans there Dave. You're spot on. I did purchase them from Finishline in the States. $A275 in 2008 including freight.
