Paid up today Stiffy. How many laps do I get on the Saturday? The entry form says events 1 & 2 are "5 lap sessions" (total of 10 laps) but then it says "the average of their 15 fastest laps of the day".

Laps
Sambo,
What Gav said
Seriously it depends on entries, number of interruptions (break downs etc)
The weather and how many volunteers we get.
Average laps over the past 10 years would be over 20 per car, most people are
Drained by the afternoon and prefer beer to using petrol

At 3km per lap that's plenty for one day. Can't wait to get out there.

Dave do we still get a Shelbyfest beer each for our vote even though you didn't win? I don't mind if you have to steal them from Stiffy's esky.
We'll be there representing NSW and Tasmania this year!
Forgot to add that my secret weapon, my son, will be driving this year as well.

Since we are talking about Cobra engineers and secrete weapons my son on the left is coming for the first time this year as well.
Two weeks ago at Winton he came to the race weekend and before I went out in my first race on Saturday off P2 he said to me, if you don't win don't come back. Well didn't win that race and he gave me the L Finger sign back in the garage got to love 9 year olds. Sunday rectified the results to keep him happy and avoided the L sign.

Tires are fitted, alignment has been done, trailer bearings are good and my engine mods are sweet so we are just about ready!
Four sleeps to go....

Hi Dav, to add a thread go up the next level and click the 'New Thread' button near the top.
Sorry can't answer your wheel question, but if you create a new thread you might get more responses

Which tyres did you go for?
Will be interested in how your new donk performs at Winton?
See you there

Still running LJ's hand-me-downs that I had at the Nationals.
Just swapped them on the rims to even them out.
I will be more interested in how my lack of skill performs at Winton

I had to get new boots as LJ asked me if I was going into Race Class with my "slicks".
Gav, the good thing is that you have a car that has more potential than what you are currently driving it at. Things can only get better :-)
