I was in NZ last week touring in camper with the family and there was one little ray of sunshine in amongst the 9 straight days of rain we endured.
A Classic Car Museum (think it was just called Classics Museum) in Hamilton just and hour south of Auckland. It would have had about 80-90 cars of all sorts, plenty of motor bikes, petrolania, enamel signs and old auto related stuff.
The entry was through a functioning 50's diner (not with 50's prices though) but entry price was good at just 20 bucks.
If your ever over that way its worth a look.
This was the only pic I got inside the diner
It had plenty of variety spread over 2 levels.
Even one for Boxhead, a '67 I think it said.
Rare bikes
Plenty of bowsers and stuff. Most of the bowsers seemed to be American style, not sure if they were originally NZ
And a nice McClaren M6 GT. The blurb didn't indicate that it was a replica, but it had bolt on halibrand cobra wheels.
