A new friend for my Cobra
Hi All,
I've been a bit quiet lately. Working away on the bodywork on the Cobra so no interesting updates.
I brought home a friend for my Cobra. This one is an Auto so my wife can drive it. It needs a bit of work but the plan is just to sort ut the running gear and make it safe and reliable and then put it on Club rego. It's left hand drive but has full NSW rego but club rego is just so much cheaper it's hard to go past
Cheers

You're talking about the blue thing, Mike, not the O-boat?

They are similar on the road. The Vette steers like a boat at the moment and the way the rear suspension works around corners you could get sea sick.

Awesome and congrats.
Loving the deal you got going there with the wife.
I'll buy you a new classic car if you let me tinker with it.
Nicely played sir, nicely played!

This one is not allowed any Mad Mike modifications carried out.
It must stay on the road.
If I hear of it being on the hoist longer than a week, I am flying down and bringing a big stick with me.

Well I've driven 1 or 2 boats in my life, and all of then handled better than the 2 'vette's I've driven

My wife picked Holbrook straight away!
Then she asked what the car was.
Need to realign her priorities!

Black interior. 350 Auto and Positraction rear.
I think it was originally Bryar Blue which I reckon looks really nice. If I get round to repainting it I'll g back to the original colour.
It probably would have looked like this

Congratulations Mike. That era Vette is not my cup of tea, yet I can still appreciate it for the classic that it is, well done.
