Default Qccc track day

Here's a few pics of the QCCC Track Day at MP on the weekend. A good day was had by all with about 35 cars participating. Great weather, great BBQ, great people. Looking forward to the next one!
Big THUMBS UP to Wazza, Mr and Mrs Flatchat and everyone that helped on the day. Big thanks to Paul Stokell for his tips and guidance also.

Video footage is following Timmy Triton in his Porsche turbo.

Good stuff mate....everyone seemed to have a ball...no dramas with any of the cars...apart from YOUR FUEL BILL !!!!

A great overnight stay, with the A.G.M. held next morning after breakfast.

I signed up for my 12th year as pres, and all other committee positions stayed the same.

Everyone got home safely, and weather was perfect.

All in all ...a top weekend.

Well done to everyone that took part.

Cheers,
Warren.

A quick video on his FB .....it went well....nothing like having a V8 super car in the shed to play with....I'm very jealous of Ash's toys.

Chunky( Peter Hancock) had his first run in his/my red racer....he was over the moon with how it went.

Jodie said he was smiling like a Cheshire Cat all day....I'm pleased that he'll love it as much as I have for the last 7 years.

I took my "new" Cobra on the track for the first time....lots of wheel spin, but a load of fun.

You can sure tell that the LS7 was built for racing.....It gets along pretty good that's for sure ,I thought it might...the dyno showed some good figures.

( 466 rwhp / 348 rwkw, and 710 nm / 535 ft. Lb torque ),

But as smooth as silk when you put the foot down.

A few iffy "drift" moments, but a ton of fun.

Best weekend you could wish for..the weather was brilliant...the track day went off without a hitch, and 50 of us for dinner and drinks, all great company...

Very proud to be associated with our club, and particularly proud to be asked to be the club president.

Cheers,
Warren

Yep. Sensational weekend all round. Thanks to all involved. Great to see the variety of cars on the track from daily drivers to dedicated race cars. Was pretty cool to get passed by a V8 supercar (along with every other car I might add!).

Looking forward to the next one.
