Default Vic Club Shed Run 21 June 2014

Great turn out despite the inevitable prospect of drizzle in Melbourne. Around 14 cars plus some extras. Eltham for coffee (thanks Mic), Paul's in Coburg to checkout his race car and machine factory (tool porn plus!) then Lindsay's in Werribee for more serious race cars and mandatory BBQ and beers. Fantastic day, I'd say about 50 people all up?

Here's a few snaps. I know Russell and others took heaps more.

Mic didn't get his car wet.

Rob's quick roof setup.

One of Paul's CNC machines in action.

The lineup at Coburg.

And finally at Werribee.

Engine drool. Polished alloy Cleveland I believe.

It wasn't all Cobras.

Plus one final arty farty shot, more to show it does get sunny in Melbourne!

Gav, schipps, Wazza and 2 others like this.

Great day out. Thanks to those who organised the event and Mic and Paul and Lindsay for hosting us.

For those looking to build/buy its a great opportunity to see them all in the flesh and have a chat etc.

Looking forward to the next one.

cheers Gregg

Spotted a few pics from Gary Gunns workshop in Werribee. He has some amazing gear in there and is a ripper bloke to deal with. I have bought some stuff from him and he has been fantastic to deal with and I believe very reasonable and helpful. There is not much he hasn't done or cant help with.
How far off is Lindsays 'thing'.............is he still going to run the Nascar motor ?
Cheers

He's still aiming for the nationals this year. It was on the 'post it' note stuck in the drivers door! And yes I believe he is running the nascar engine. Someone can elaborate I'm sure...
