Default ICV Application Form

G'day Folks. Hope everyone is having a great week.

My build is coming along nicely and I'm hoping to post a few pics over the weekend if I can get my act together.

Because I've been dragging my feet with my build, I wanted to check on something with you all.

Is there an expiry on the ICV Applications? I seem to recall reading somewhere that they are good for 2 years and then you have to extend them year on year after that until completion.

I cannot find any information relating to expiries of these applications now though.

Anybody know what the deal is?

Any help, much appreciated.

Adam.

Did you get an acceptance/approval letter from them when you lodged the application? It probably should state the period on that.

Hi, you need to write to the Vehicle Safety and Standards services in Welshpool asking for an extension on your original application. This is the same place that you would of made the original application to build an ICV.

Hi Folks,

David - Yep. I got an acceptance which was basically a photocopy of my ICV with a rubber stamp mark on it with the authorisation date and an authorisation number on it.

Didn't have any other markings unfortunately.

CK - Yeah, I was thinking the same thing... I'll send them a letter this week asking for an extension

Thanks for the help guys.

Adam.
