Absolute Pace 427 SC Registered
Hi All
The first Absolute Pace 427 SC Cobra was registered today . I can say without any fear of contradiction that it is the first registered in Queensland, Australia and the WORLD. I just thought that all the interested people would like to know. A huge thank you to Craig, Don, Greg, Wayne, Steve, Richard, Peter and all the other people at Absolute Pace for their help, expertise, and suggestions in the build process over the last couple of years. Their expertise and knowledge in building kit cars is truly remarkable. This car was the prototype in many respects where many things were designed tried and evaluated before a decision was made to produce them or improve the item . Although the Pace 427 SC of mine is the first registered there is another going to be registered in a couple of weeks. So things are going gang busters at pace with quite a number of kits going to be delivered before Christmas ( I can't think of a better Christmas present ). Cheers Brad P.S. See you at the QLD Cobra Club Christmas party |
Hi Brad
Congrats on being the first of many. It has been great watching the car come together. I remember visiting Absolute Pace a year ago and the cobras look even better in person. Plus they have a well thought out design and engineered brilliantly. One day I might upgrade the DRB. Ian |
Congratulations Brad! Awesome news.
I bet you are a happy chappy. Well I might just commit and purchase my rego plates now! |
Well done Brad. You should be proud.
As you can see, I have also joined the queue. It was good to catch up yesterday. Your car looks amazing even from underneath! Happy motoring Cheers Sam |

Congratulations now you can enjoy all your hard work. Did you end up getting the engine back together after its mishap.

Hi All
Some pictures today if its a sunny day and the car needs a bit of a clean to get the dust off. Damage the engine is all fixed new bearings and a crank grind solved the problem. I put the bearing failure to oil surge and running in oil now it has proper oil and baffle doors in the sump. New oil pump, double row timing chain, 1.7 roller rockers, and new oil cooler etc. Time to enjoy Cheers Brad |
Great news Brad, it certainly looks good in the flesh. Now there will be another cobra running around the Ormiston area.
Cheers Greg |
Well done Brad!
I am sure you will be putting plenty of kms on it. Ben |
Well done Brad, I will never forget the day I got my full rego plates - finally beating the system! Enjoy the moment but please post photos soon. :D
