With better tyres you will see a huge difference.

I run pretty consistant 7.2 over 1/8th with 1.6 60ft times.
I fitted a set of drag slicks and with only 1 scary pass (My LSD centre has failed) the car launced so much better and I had a 1.2 60ft from memory, with a lot of pedalling I got through the finish with 7.0 flat.

1.6 60ft time is really good mate you should be in the 11s easy. The other thing I think I need to do is either go taller tyres or go a 3.9 diff ratio because I only get 175 km out of 4 th gear with 4.11. With 3.9 diff I should get about 195 km in 4th with out change to 5th. Which is more then speed for 12 second pass.
