PACE ALUMINA....ALL Aluminium !!

In response to the demand for a high spec Aluminium bodied model…We are very proud to introduce the PACE ALUMINA.

Our aluminium bodies are made from our own buck and feature the very desirable , and authentic PACE 427 body shape.

Where ours differs from other manufacturers is that our aluminium bodies are truly hand-made by English wheel experts.
Other bodies available on the market are pressed.

Therefore ,our bodies require much less work to get them prepared for brushed or polished finish….negating the need for extensive panel beating and weld fill repairs.

PLUS…there’s the definite “Cool Factor” of being a completely hand-made English wheel body.

They are 100% Australian made.

This special model will be known as the PACE ALUMINA…an ALL Aluminium PACE 427, with a number of additional high level upgrades and features.

The PACE ALUMINA model is priced at $19,995-00 as an upgrade.

This model is well underway, and ready for orders to be taken.

Our PACE 427 already features:

* Aluminium Chassis
* Aluminium Pushrod Suspension
* Aluminium door/boot/bonnet hinges.

The PACE ALUMINA additionally features:

* Aluminium Body
* Aluminium Body Structure
* Plus all of the above PACE 427 features are upgraded on the PACE ALUMINA.

Build it and they will come....... Yup..... I would suggest that there will be interest in this and I for one will be looking forward to seeing this progress

Pricing is fair considering its about the depreciation on a SS for the first 18 months, and I know what I would rather have (no offence to SS owners).

Way to go AP guys.

Talk about lifting the bar (again). Any photos Waz or is the aluminium body still in development?

albanycobra 01-15-2015 02:36 AM

With the Pace Kevlar / Fiber glass body weighing in at under 50 KGS the weight gain will be minimal I think.

It will be more appealing to those who want to build a Cobra that is different to look at and is wanted to be talked about.

In any case it will be a stunning creation as all Absolute Cars are.

I can't describe the pleasure that I get from driving my Pace Cobra and the admiring looks I get from the public (even in the rain ).

Go the Alloy Body.

Cheers

Brad

While this is seemingly true... I'm yet to see one complete.
AP are seemingly run off their feet just trying to keep up with "relatively" small local demand. Imagine what would happen if.... The wait time would be longer than ERA.

Best of luck with it.

The weight will be very similar to the current Gelcoat/Carbon Fibre body.

That would be nice...but just to clarify a bit..

Check out our brochure on the website for the PACE 427,
Absolute Pace - Kit Car Manufacturer of Cobra & GT40 Replica's and other modern Sportscar kits (formally Race Car Replicas Australia)
and you will see that the current base price for the kit is as follows:

Starter Kit @ $24,995-00
PLUS Roller kit @ $7,995-00
PLUS Finish and Add-On Kit @ $21,995-00

i.e. Total for the full roller kit , with finish and add on, is currently $54,985-00

If you were to choose the option up to the "Pace Alumina" it is an additional cost of $19,995-00...making the total of $74,980-00.

You can purchase additional options....
but would prefer to discuss this with individuals,rather than get into it on an open forum...

I might be sitting here all night/every night on the forum otherwise !!

8-30 now, still haven't had any dinner or even ONE beer !!...

Too much Cobra Club stuff to do ( Club Pres. "stuff") as well when I get home.

Cheers,
Warren

Best of luck with it.

That "relatively" small local market is booming.

Approx 50 Pace 427's in a very short period of time....and the enquiry level is through the roof.

We're very busy..yes...but I think we are producing world class products in a very reasonable time frame.

Order one, and we'll show you ...Ha Ha:3DSMILE:

Thanks for the well wishes.

Cheers,
Warren.

Yes well how much is that approximately.
cheers Tomcat

Wazza 01-15-2015 04:33 AM

I don't know...but I asked the question today..i.e. how will it compare...and I was told it was about the same as the Gelcoat/Carbon fibre body...
I'll find out what that actual weight is tomorrow...not sure what it will mean to anyone though....other than it's similar to the "normal" body.
Cheers,
Warren

Tom, around 46KG for our main carbon composite street body shell. It is actually built for strength, reliability and durability. So it is many times stronger than a typical fibreglass body. We also build lightweight carbon bodies for track use. Or anything in between.

Just under 20KG for the aluminium body shell. Plus the weight of the aluminium body superstructure to support it. Our superstructure has pretty short runs, so not a lot of weight there either.

Yes, we are very busy as local demand for PACE 427 has caught us by surprise but our local 2000sqm+ facility and the large workforce we have is catching up on orders. We are continually improving processes, procedures and capability. Also keep in mind we produce other products such as PACE GT and are also a kit car service and repair business, we

We are currently moving to next phase of our business plan and our new facility will put us in a better global position.
