Default Peter Mac - Ride to Conquer Cancer - chasing support

Mods. if you feel this thread misplaced on inappropriate feel free to remove and I will deal through the local cobra club.

Folks

Given the recent banter on cycling, I'll put out there an unabashed request for any donations you may wish to pledge towards a charitable ride I am registered to undertake in October this year.

The Peter MacCallum - Ride to Conquer Cancer is being run to help raise funds for the Peter Mac Cancer Centre to further research into cancer cures.

As part of my commitment to ride the 200 km event I do need to raise at least $2,500 in donations. I am on my way and if any of you do consider to donate, it can only help Peter Mac and get me closer to being able to participate.

The donations are used by Peter Mac as soon as we raise them and not after the event. This is important as today 342 Australians will find out they have cancer and 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.

That's huge so I'm doing something about that and I can relate as I've also been part of those statistics.

You will find below the link into my Peter Mac personal page that shows that I have registered for the event. Use of my link also accrues the donation tally against my registration to help me reach the minimum $2,500 target.

Please consider supporting me in The Ride to Conquer Cancer by visiting my Personal Page below and making a donation.

You can also help me by spreading the word and forwarding this donation request to any other contacts you may feel suitable.

Regardless, thank you for your consideration of my request at the least, it is appreciated.

Thanking you in advance for your generosity!

Guys

Given my spruik at the club meeting last night I thought I'd bump this back up to the top for consideration and with thanks to those that have already donated.

It is very simple process following the link I've provided above and remember if you do consider making a donation it is tax deductable.

So if you need some allowable deductions for your tax I'm here to help you.

Anyway it is supporting a very good cause that is an all too common denominator in our daily lives.

Thanking you in advance for your consideration.

Cheers

Steve
