Default TKO Gearboxes

I'm chasing some help with info on these gearboxes. I have recently acquired 2 of these units. One is basically brand new 5 speed and the other has the 5 speed holinger dog box conversion. They were both mated to a chev ls2.
I don't know much more about them but I'm sure I can get further info if needed.

They are surplus to my requirements and I want to sell them so can anyone please shed any light on what their respective asking prices should be to go to a good home? (no towy your not getting them cheap!)

My GB man tells me that the TKO dogbox is not holinger internals its ALVINS (?) is that they way you spell it. Close ratio unlike the stock TKO box.
The dog box would go very well in a V8 Supercar set up like ummmmmmm yours Towy, but you'd need to learn how to heal tow mate! Syncros are for puss eeess!

The dog box is worth very little. At best guest, I'd say whatever Ash says plus one extra dollar.

Cool piece!

Spook, what is the part number of the stock TKO? There can be a big difference between the price of a 3550 and a TKO600.
The 5th gear ratio can impact whether it will suit people's individual combinations.

The Albins conversion is an interesting one. Many of these retained synchros, so a dog gear version is pretty cool. Are the gears straight cut or helical?

Il let u know the first question as soon as it arrives Craig. I have pics but not numbers. The 2nd is yes straight cut. According to Richard B it's " a poor mans sequential " and relatively sort after in circuit racing apparently? Dunno.
