No it doesn't get full throttle, it seems to bog down with excess fuel. I track down the original owner who was very helpful with info and told me who installed the electronics and why it runs as it does. So Im going to give him a call and see if he can finish off the tune. Then let the shopping begin, need trim pieces and seats.

City Performance and MRT know how to tune a Motec ECU.. If the throttle body set up is not matched to the cam, valves and springs there could be issues there also. Id be getting the specs for those parts and confirming they are matched and suitable for the induction set up before I started tuning.

Cheers

Chris

Hi Linden,

I know this car it was being built by Brad the same time as mine (we both lived on the central coast). My cobra is running Motec and was tuned a couple of months ago by iDyno at Tuggerah. He had the car for a couple of days due to hot weather and did a great tune. They restrict it to 368 RWKW due to being concerned something would let go as the power was still climbing

Thanks Craig, we have it booked in with them on friday. I am on the central coast too, it would be great if we could meet up and discuss the car and the many questions I have about finishing the build.

Sounds good, I might even get the Cobra out of the garage if this weather clears up... I am at Glenning Valley PM me and we will organise something.

Cheers
