Old mower wheels? Luxury! when I was a lad, all I had was wheels made from a rolled up newspaper!

Going by that frame shape I'm guessing it's some type of clubman. Looks like it'll be a super rigid chassis.

Cheers

When I say lawn mower wheels I really meant bits of tree branch wit' hole int' middle. We used to dream of having a rolled up news paper.

Best wheels I found was roller skate trucks.

One of the guys built one with large roller bearings for wheels. Slid all over the place and had absolutely no traction but it was fun if a bit scary.

I've often thought it would be great fun to build and race one of these:

Luxury? We were so poor that our go-kart wheels were made from rocks with holes in the centre....oh wait, that was on the Flintstones

...umm, it's actually a C-Type Jag frame :)
There are so many tubes there, I wondered where they actually put the engine!

Andy on Kirkham Motorsports Facebook Page there is a suggestion of a 289 Street Car coming to Oz as well.

I hope this link works.

I saw the Facebook link on my phone so didn't think to reference the build number or dates. Pretty interesting factory pics all the same.
