I think the Corvette replicas on the holden chassis were called a Perenti.

The Cheetah has definitely got an unconventional look. I thought they were ugly at first but the shape has grown on me. It's hard not to be impressed by 200MPH back in 1964

Cheers

If memory serves me correctly, I do believe Doug Pearce built a Yellow Perenti some years ago out at Lillydale. I think it was for the missus.

Cheers

I own a 72 corvette and they are pretty agricultural underneath. The chassis is not that different to a Holden one toner. You just get an IRS and 4 wheel disc brakes.

when we used too run tow trucks out of our workshop we had the contract for towing for a company called corvette world here in Adelaide i was pretty shocked the first time i put one on the truck it looked so much like a hq it was not funny . i used to joke with some of the owners that they had just bought a plastic hq .
some of the cars were real pieces of crap but they stilled paid stupid money for them back in the day . never really appealed to me personally but each to there own .
