AP016 Build Thread
I had a few guys from work come over to checkout the workshop so I got them to give me a hand to remove the body. Very easy job with 4 people.
http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/pict...ictureid=13771 Last weekend my son gave me a hand to build a frame to store the Body http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/pict...ictureid=13772 One night after work we hung the body off the rafters. The 4 post Hoist made lifting the Body up very easy : ) http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/pict...ictureid=13773 Progress so far, not much, Pedal Box hole cut and cut out Engine bay insulation. http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/pict...ictureid=13774 |
Can you paint your chassis satin black so I can see what it looks like??

Spent most of Sunday in the workshop.
Gotta say thanks to Craig White for answering my txt message on Sunday arvo, can't asked for better service. Attaching the rear Push Rod Flanges which I painted black. http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/...psoznbgmyy.jpg Bell Cranks http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/...psjzyqfkxn.jpg Lunch Time http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/...pssvoalqlg.jpg Front Suspension http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/...psgjt7eyw5.jpg http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/...ps5of6yfrl.jpg |

Progress is good (particularly for mid-winter). Cheers, Glen |

So much alloy, so clean, such a well presented package for any builder. Keep the updates coming, great to see. |
looking great :-) its coming on leaps and bounds .
|
I'm frothing at the mouth to get a hold of mine....mmmm mouth froth......I got to get this 40 back on the road so i can start setting up the workshop for the new project....
|
When you say .."fixed the rear pushrod flanges" what went wrong?
|
Quote:
I asked Darryl about that, and he confirmed he meant "affixed"...not "fixed". Had me concerned at first, because I didn't recognize that flange ( ours are a creamy white colour)...turns out he'd painted it black. Cheers, Warren |
