Default Mid life crisis or craziness ?

Well I've always believed my mid life crisis started the day I got my drivers licence..

But this has always been on my bucket list of must try, buy or just do..

I have added this new toy - but not to my garage.

It is a Steen Skybolt with a Lycoming 0 - 360 aerobatic..

It just does not get any crazier..

I'm in the process of painting the blue out and having it all red with the yellow stripes. I may add some corporate advertising to assist in a write off for tttttax.

I am also re trimming in red leather and adding a Dynon glass panel that is basically a GPS with full engine temperature, exhaust temperature, fuel monitoring etc etc..

Flies at 120 knots true - about 220 kph plus. With a fuel burn of 35 litres per hour. This is about 14 litres per 100 road kilometres. Then you consider it flies as the 'crow flies' it's about 8 - 10 litres per road 100 kilometres.

Here is a picture of it at the airport in Lilydale.
