Default 10 yrs old CR Bulid need help please

Hi Guys
I have had a Classic Revival kit since the 2003, but in between buying a house, having Kids and not having any spare cash it has been sitting in the garage and at Ian's workshop for the last 6 months.
I'm now in the position to complete the kit. I have had it delivered today and the long journey begins again.
boxhead and willandrache like this.

Good luck with your build.

There are a couple of other "square tube" CR folks on the forum too who I am sure can offer some advice on a few mods/upgrades.

cheers

Gregg "round tube" CR

Start with telling us what stage it is at? Looks like it's rolling? Brakes? transmission in?

Looks like an LS3?

Interesting Thread Title. At first glance, it could be construed that your 10 year old is building a Classic Revival.

Howdy,
Do you have a build manual for it?, if not i'm happy to send you a copy of mine.
i have the round tube version, but the manual would give you a guide on the sequence of build.... not that i followed it as such...
PM me your email and ill forward to you if you like

Dave

I guess the first thing is to get brake lines and the brakes hooked up. Then maybe get the motor and ecu wired up.

Welcome along. Great to see another build thread and with photos - keep them coming. And wonderful to hear that you have got your build back on track. Plenty of information on here and plenty of help.

Watching with interest.

Great to see that your project is back on track after what has been a not uncommon delay.

A square tube CR will be somewhat of a rarity among Qld Cobras and will add some variety to our ranks. Why not come along to our next get-together at the Red Rock cafe, Hope Island on Sunday July 5? Make yourself known to any of the rough crowd hanging around the cars in the car park from 7.30 and then join us for breakfast at 8.00.

While there may not be a lot of experience with the CR brand specifically up here, there's a wealth of knowledge about the build process in general to be gained from talking with our members.

don't forget to get your engineer on side now as he can guide you as your build is 10years old & all the applications may be out dated

There are quite a few CR's that have been documented being built on this forum.
Have a look at Aussie Mikes, Phil M's, Boxy's, P Neall's, Beejay's or my past threads and I'm sure it will answer at least a few questions that you may have.
Welcome to the forum.
