Default Carpets

Whilst I'm still a long way from getting to it, what options have people gone with for their interiors (products, fixing, diy, pros, etc) Must include pics....

thanks

When I changed out, I opted out of the wool carpet and went with the Mercedes stuff. It bends and forms quite well. Hope that helps.

There is a thread somewhere here about it. The Wilton wool carpet is nice until it gets wet and starts to smell like the sheep it came off of!

You could go some expensive German woollen velour carpet!

Got rid of the link and put the proper photo in instead for easier viewing. Work computer was playing up at the time!

I went marine carpet in case of getting caught out on a wet day. Look fine after 10 years and has been wet a couple times. I used Top Cat upholstery in Phillip.

Cheers
Brett

I have used cheap stretchy carpet, it's light, forms really easily to complex shapes, is piss easy to fit and cost about $50 to do the whole car.
It 'pills' a bit but they are easy to get rid of with a flame or clippers.
If you are after a 'cheap and reasonable' solution before you shell out the big bucks for fitted carpets I'd give it a go.

One would go to an auto trimmer.
If you ask for stretchy carpet they will know what you are talking about.

I'm with you Lippy. By the way, I used to work near you. I was stationed at Yass from 1967 to 1969. Great town, but Marrumbateman consisted of only a few shops and plenty of huge farms with really wealthy landowners like the 'Merryman's'
