Hi dean,
The gold coloured box in the drive line is a Quaife reverse box mate, have to put a lever on it yet.

Looking good. Just curious as to what you are using for a reverse gear?

Cheers

Thanks Mike , if you look closely you will note a golden coloured box in the driveline, that's a quaife reverse box, designed for bike engined cars.

Good to see your progress. Have you seen some of the engines from Hartley Enterprises, they are getting over 400hp from these engines and there v8 that is basically two of these busa's joined together as used in the Ariel Atom V8.

Which is fine if you have the full width of the rear of an Atom to play with, but I think that squeezing just the one Busa engine into this little champ is clever enough.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how this project eventuates.

Well had a visit from the engineer today, everything looks good so far , things like non GPS speeds ( I had bought a GPS speedo) , brake fail warnings, fuel tank fillers, tension tests on the seat belt mounts are things that I've got to go back and review , but all in all not a bad result.
From what he was telling me , it may be a few years till it will be driving on the road, due to the RMS dragging their feet on passing cars. May change soon hopefully , as there is a whisper that they may pass on the regulations back onto the engineers. Where past tense the RMS used to audit 1 in 10 cars trying to get their ICV , now they are doing every one and picking on ridiculous things like spelling.
Fingers crossed it all frees up soon hey.
Regards Michael

Troy Brodie mate, real nice bloke and can recommend him to anyone. The hold up is not him but the RMS. Anyone trying to get a ICV registered in NSW now would be able to confirm the painstaking process .
