Default Back into it!

Thanks to Albany Cobra and his "get it done " attitude I am back into it.
Fuel tank, heat shields, inner guards etc today.

Know what I like?
The quickjacks have been mounted facing the correct way!
Thanks Brett.

And good on you Dave. I reckon Brett's not the only one to have been inspired by your get stuck in attitude. Might we see a profusion of Paces bursting onto the scene in time for Easter?

Default Good day

Cut some holes and fitted lights and stuff, looking like a 289 replica.
Thanks Finishline for the period style indicators.

So much easier standing up to do stuff....

Cheers

Sorry to hear that, but understand that sometimes you have to just move on. It has been a nice build to follow and whoever purchases the car will be getting a real nice 289 cobra to finish.

Good luck with your sale.

Jim

Default Onward!

Seems alot has been lost along the way on this thread but we are still plodding along and keen to finish.

Header tanks in, handbrake sorted from passenger side to driver side.

Going to the Shelby Collection in Boulder Colorado in a couple of weeks to see ol'98 in the flesh which will spur me on to finish this build.

Cheers and Happy Xmas and New Year to all.

I believe I posted in Beejays post, rather then this one, about the Ken Miles weekend back in 1963. Beautiful build by the way. If you would like a more in-depth story of the that fateful weekend, and more Cobra stories let me know, I might have been just a kid back then, but it took me on a road that continues to this day. I met all the famous drivers from that era. Merry Christmas, Tom.
