Default Fire systems

What are you racer Guys using for a fire system? I have a 1 kilo bottle but think a 4kg with pull cable activation is the go?

Dave I have a fire bomb with sprayers to engine, boot and driver plus a smaller bottle I can quickly remove for my own use or if need be others. In a normal car room is an issue as the bottles are big but your boot would work. Just ensure your dash mounted/external cable works correctly with the cable travelling that far.

On the small one I have used a different bracket mount as some of the stock units are flimsy and with it mounted near my body would hurt if it came loose and hit me in an accident etc

The Supercar came with a 5.2 litre firebomb system. I am guessing that size was a requirement for whatever reason. It is mounted in the middle where the back seat would usually be and the pull cables are behind the gearstick and one also just behind the bonnet on the drivers side. That one is right next to the battery isolation switch.
