I am still set on the idea to bring my Cobra over but need to speek to an Engineer about the chassis and the detail he would need . Does anyone know of a Engineer I could hook up with when I am there. ?

Also there is a Queensland Cobra Club breakfast on Sunday 1st of May down at Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast. Wazza may be able to chime in with the exact details if you are nearby....

Close mate ..... it's at Hope Is these days, remember?

I hope David can make it along. With any luck he's brought some Kudu biltong with him.

Thanks for the replies I will try to make it to your run on the 1st of May. Sorry no Kudu biltong your border control does not allow it ,otherwise I would only have Biltong in my bags.

Don't worry about trying to get biltong in. There are heaps of South Africans here already and shops stocking Rsa products. The biltong is made here though.....so no game biltong, usually only beef

Hi David,

I hope you make the move. Come and visit us in Adelaide (it's only a few klicks down the road).
Probably an important factor in bringing a car into the country and having it registered is how long you have owned it and how long you will be staying here.
It's a RHD car (coming from SAf)? .... but it may not matter given the other factors.

Cheers,
Glen
