Default RMC Cobra - Getting some winter updates

Hi All,

Parts have just started arriving for my winter updates! I'll try and post some pictures of this as it happens over the next couple of months.

Just received my new gauge set from Speedhut. I have no affiliation with Speedhut and havent installed the gauges as yet - but I must say I am very impressed so far having just received the gauges today, they really do look trick - better in person than any photo I have seen of them, really impressed with the finish and the quality. Can't wait to get them fitted and see them lit up!

7 gauge set with shift lights built into to Tach. Order specs for those that may be interested -

Colors: Day - Black dial // White font
Night - Numbers Red Glow
Font Style: Century
Tick Style: Standard
Graphic: -
Logo: -
Custom Text: -
Pointer: Black Blade White (Glows Red)
Bezel: Legacy Chrome

Here is a picture taken when I opened the package! I think they have that great retro look with all the modern technology and hopefully accuracy.

More to come!

Cheers, Slide

Hi BJ's snake,

Seat are Cobra Roadster XL+'s in Tan with Black stitching - stitching doesn't show up well in photos but looks great in person. Will be nice to get the current seats out and these new ones in - the seats currently in the car are non-period and quite frankly, don't suit the cobra at all.

As you are in my neck of the woods, I look forward to catching up when I get back on the road and meeting up or going for a cruise together.

Regards,
Slide

seats are from George at Merlin Motorsports in the UK. Revolution Race Gear can also supply I believe as a custom order - they generally only stock the Roadster SS seat which has completely different measurements.

legend plates are from Carolina Laser as leroy advised.

Mickie - would have loved to have the legend plates made locally - interested in seeing some of your work.

This is just a few things I do, the engravings are on leather I did for a top 10 show car, also can do custom key rings out of 10 mm perspex.

Sorry to hijack the thread, I won't add anything more .

Hey Slide, those seats look amazing and period too. Just one question, do they have a provision for a head rest - I can't see it on the photo, but if not what is the method to get them complied for use, or are they a pair of replacement seats.

Cheers
Wil

Wil, A Melbourne trimmer supplies complete cobra seats with head rests which are rumored to be ADR approved.
