I just had a look on Dakota site and the small print says not compatible with Pontiac GTO from 2009, which i think was the Holden VE HSV commodore export to US called the G8.

I thought the VF SS had the L98 and series 2 had LS3, LS2s dropped out in 2006ish i think.

The Pontiac GTO was a Monaro. The Pontiac G8 was a VE.

Ahh yes, thats right, maybe best to ask Dakota whether its compatible with the pedal part number you have.

Actually it's an L77 (L98 + AFM or DOD enabled - for autos), but for our US cousins who wouldn't know what that was I was trying to be generic.

Pretty sure only the HSVs use the LS3. Everything else was just the 6.0L.

Anyway, from your earlier post I think the crc-1000 with the OBD2 port will do the trick. I'll email them to confirm anyway. Thanks!
