More progress this weekend. Had other things on so not as much as I had hoped. Managed to get a good coat on the front section. I might put an ally checker plate section to save more stone chips.

A bit more progress tonight. Two coats Of white exterior to seal the underside of the quilla flooring for the living area and I have started to cut out and fit the formply flooring. Not too many swear words so far...

A bit more progress, 5.4m of form ply in place. 3.2 m of hardwood flooring to go in the front half yet.... Still needs to be pulled out sealed and then sika flexed in place. Don't need it to move... form ply will be heavy but I'm allowed 4.5 tonne and it was only $65 a sheet and this is a budget build. I'm using 3mm aluminium composite material, get it from our acrylic suppliers for about $25 /sqm. Will use some polished extruded aluminium on the edges and have plenty of lights for it. This thing needs to be ready and registered by last weekend in January to take the car to Bathurst.... not toooooo concerned just yet..... I have pretty much everything I need except the extrusions. Will ring & check when they close for Xmas....

I'm getting mine from Action Aluminium in Brisbane. They have the truck body polished extrusions. I just googled polished aluminium extrusions and they came up. Ullrich Aluminium is another one but not sure exactly what they have.

The flat floor is 8,550mm & the raised bed section is 1,850mm long.
Total external length is 11m with fibreglass nose cone.

Did a bit of measuring & it turns out I could do it all in the hardwood. Have enough left over for a hardwood bench top also.
