Apparently one of the lugs on the trans was hard against the tunnel and not allowing the trans to line up straight. Problem solved... lug has now been cut off.
Now waiting for wiring loom from CAE for another week or two. You certainly wouldn't want a tight time frame to build one of these things. I'll just be happy when I hear it fire up for the first time.

Most people building these cars take years to complete them, I would say your doing alright Scott. All the trials and tribulations go with the process.. It is part of the joy of building a one of car..

However it would be better with more photo's please - LOL

One thing easily missed is when you say the trans needs to line up, make sure you know all about tail shaft phasing.

That's normal for the Pace chassis, same on my car (LSA/Tremec MG9) had to chop a few lugs.
